Its perfect emulated! But needs a great computer to run at full speed! I haven't experienced any crashing nor any problems. I was absolutely delighted that DOSBox emulated that problem so perfectly it did that all the time when I was playing it on my 486. My computer runs the game pretty well at 11000 cycles, although the music occasionally skips a touch.īTW, regarding the glitching of the sound in movies: that's not an emulation problem. The key to all this was realizing that "cycles" in DOSBox does not directly correlate to CPU cycles on the emulated machine that is, a 66 MHz machine does not require "66000 cycles".

I LOVE this old school game, but, when I need to 'grab' and item, the blue pulsing cursers are very sporadic/choppy & cannot be activated. Running the game on a AMD64 3200 with cycles set to 13000 with nothing special for the video configuration. At that moment the game is running at less than 1fps. The game runs great except when there are intensive graphic things going on like more than one those blue statis fields. I tried re-installing again but this time the setup screen told me i had zero megs of hard drive space availableĬouldnt find anything on the faq for this issue

I installed this game the first time, almost got it to work but the intro movie was kind of glitchy so i pressed alt F7 thinking it would help but the game locked up. ANYONE SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT CRUSADER GAMES.

The problem with no regret is that I install the game but it won't read the disk. I love playing the Crusader no remorse and no regret games but the no remorse game has a problem with loading the problem is I start loading the game than it comes up with E:static\typeflag.dat exist but could not go into write mode please remove write-protection. So i assume this game is now in fully supported state =) On previous versions of Dosbox -0.63 for example, game was pretty much unplayable. No lags or frameskip, sound is played perfectly and videos work correctly.
Game works perfect in Dosbox 0.72 with default configuration file on my Pentium4 CPU. Try to get the gold box edition 1.21 if possible, but not necessary. The game disk can be bought on ebay, or downloaded on the internet.
The game used to skip when in was new in 1995 I remember, so if it skips a little, that's the was it was new. Game Runs Flawlessly-ĭosBox Settings- cpu core auto, cycles maxmax, mem 32mb.
